We read your ECU and inspect the available calibration, then select and tailor the appropriate tune for your motorcycle, its modifications and intended use. Depending on the bike, this can include fuelling, ignition, throttle behaviour, engine braking and other available ECU strategies.
Yes, on many LAMS motorcycles, ECU-controlled restrictions can be changed through tuning. Some models also use mechanical or other restrictions outside the ECU*.
What can be changed depends on the motorcycle, ECU and restriction method. Contact us with your bike's make, model and year and we'll tell you what's possible.
*LAMS derestriction may affect the motorcycle's registration, insurance and legal status. Check the requirements applicable in your state or territory.

Yes, we take a conservative, evidence-based approach to calibration / tuning and only adjust parameters available for your particular ECU. Performance, rideability and reliability are considered together — we don't chase changes simply for the sake of bigger numbers.
Yes. ECU Werks offers an Australia & NZ mail-in service. Remove your ECU, package it securely and include your contact details, motorcycle make, model, year, ECU number and modifications. We'll take care of the rest and return your ECU by tracked Express Post or Courier.
We aim to complete your ECU tune within 24 business hours of receiving your ECU, subject to ECU compatibility and successful reading and writing.
Once completed, your ECU is securely packaged and returned by tracked Express Post. Total delivery time will depend on postage to and from ECU Werks and your location.
ECU tuning and other motorcycle modifications may affect road registration, LAMS eligibility, emissions, noise and other compliance requirements. Please check the requirements applicable to your motorcycle and state or territory before ordering.
